On August 14th, four formidable 12-ton battery electric locomotives were meticulously lined up in our dispatch yard as the team executed precision loading operations. Secured safely within heavy-duty shipping containers, these advanced locomotives are now embarking on an ocean voyage to Kenya, where they will be deployed to actively accelerate critical local infrastructure projects.

Shaoli Locomotives: Empowering Africa's Infrastructure Development

Driven by an exceptional cost-to-performance ratio and unwavering quality, Shaoli Rail Transit Equipment has long been the preferred supplier for China's overseas infrastructure contractors. To date, Shaoli locomotives have been actively deployed in massive water conservancy and mine haulage projects across a multitude of countries and regions, including Zambia, Ghana, Kenya, Georgia, Turkey, India, the Philippines, Bolivia, and Ecuador.

The four 12-ton battery-electric engineering locomotives delivered in this batch were custom-engineered to meet the client's exacting requirements. Characterized by formidable tractive effort, rapid transit speeds, massive payload capacity, and robust braking power, they are fully capable of hauling heavy loads on steep gradients of up to 45‰ (4.5%). These specific Shaoli locomotives will be deployed in a critical water supply tunnel project in Kenya, proudly contributing "Chinese Engineering Excellence" to the infrastructure development of African nations.
